Don’t be Afraid to Challenge Yourself

ALAM : On 3rd April
2013, Faculty of Communication and Media UNISEL Shah Alam proudly organized a
forum with topic, “Preparing Today’s Youth for The Future Era of
Globalization”. Special thanks to Madam Adlene bt Aris as a project adviser.
The
forum was held successfully as their objective, to improve the students’ understanding
about their responsibilities as youth, to develop and improve the students’
perspective to look ahead in their future, to educate the students on how to be
creative and innovative in the era of globalization and to use this forum as a
platform of exchanging information and knowledge from the experts towards the
audience.
One
of the penal lists, Mr Nazrudin Habibur Rahman, television personality said
that, competition is good and healthy to the youth. Competition really can help
to improve the skills of youth and don’t afraid to challenge yourself.
“Youth
must empower their language. Language is very important to communicate with others.
It’s never too late to learn.
When you’re in the industries you will learn.
Your attitude and skill must be improves to be a quality of youth. You must
remember, nobody can change you except yourself”.–said Mr Nazrudin, he is also
a graduate students of communication and media, Lim Kok Wing University, and
have many experience
of hosting television program, the most popular, the breakfast show NTV7.
Other
penal lists are Mr Md Rosli bin Haji Ismail and Ms Jazz Tan Yee Mei. “Youth
must be confident in everything you do, if you think you can do it, yes you can
do it! If you have chance to go travel, please go because you can explore
yourself”. –said Mr Md Rosli, he has been travel in Japan in years.
When
question and answer sessions (Q&A), someone asks to Mr Nazrudin, what is
him opinion to work part-time while studying like his before? , he answer, “I
don’t encourage students to work part-time while study, like I do before,
because academic need focus and a lots of concentrate, you cannot do 2 things
in 1 time. Whatever you do, your ‘nawaitu’
must be good”.
Last
question from the audience to Ms Jazz, what is your opinion about government,
did government give opportunity to the youth? , “So far, my opinion government
give a lot of opportunity towards youth. For example, 1M4U volunteer program.
The important things, you should ask to yourself, what you can do to your
country or society, don’t ask what government gift to you.” –said Ms Jazz, Dana
